We hold a current California contractors license #591633 in the window covering specialty field. Larson Shutter Company was established in 1982 as a retail window covering store serving the greater San Jose, California area with Shop-At-Home service for custom window coverings with shutters as our specialty and included sales, design and installation. In 2006 we moved our offices to the town of Loomis, CA which is approximately 30 miles east of Sacramento at the foot of the Sierra mountains in California. Two years later we moved to to a larger facility in Rocklin, CA and as of June 2013 we are located in Roseville, CA which is only a few miles from where we first located in 2006 near the California capitol city of Sacramento.

In 2003 we began shipping standard size incense cedar exterior shutters nationwide and we were excited over the acceptance of of these high quality cedar wood shutters and the positive feedback we received on them from many of our satisfied customers. At the same time we added exterior shutter hardware including hinges, shutter holdbacks, shutter bolts and other hardware to our growing product offering.

Beginning early in 2006 we expanded our products to include several new offerings including: standard and custom vinyl shutter products by Mid-America Components and a premium line of composite Stonefield Classic Shutters and the Architectural fiberglass shutters by Atlantic Premium Shutters. During 2006 we also added high quality Western Red Cedar shutters from Southern Shutter Company which feature mortise and tenon joinery. Southern Shutter includes affordable Standard Duty, Heavy Duty and DesignLine for custom sizes with many options available. Styles include louvers, raised panels, board and batten and can be ordered unfinished, primed or primed and painted.

During 2007 we added several new product offerings including a new product line of custom shutters made with Western Red Cedar, Redwood, Pine and Extira Composite wood. Styles for these shutters include: Louvers, Raised Panels, Louver/Panel combination and Board and Batten shutters. Many new options are available for this shutter line including: Arch tops, Priming, False Tilt Rod, Copper and Aluminum Caps and many other options.

Since then we have added several other brands of vinyl shutters including Perfect Shutters, Inc. and vinyl shutters from Giradin Moulding, Inc. and Dinesol Building Products. We have also added a line of composite shutters from New Horizon Shutters and are pleased with the quality of these shutters.

Our goal is to provide a one-stop shop with a high level of service and a full line of high quality exterior shutters, gable vents and cupolas for home owners and builders shipped throughout the United States with reasonable prices and quick turn around.
